Vacancies Available at Rescue 1122 Headquarters

Rescue 1122 is inviting applications for the following key roles:

1. Assistant Controller Examinations (BPS-17) Rescue 1122

Number of Positions: 1
Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess an MCS, MS (IT), or a four-year BCS degree with at least a second division from a Higher Education Commission (HEC)-recognized university.
Experience: A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in academic or examination services in government, private institutions, or HEC-recognized testing organizations.
Age Limit: 24 to 40 years.

2. Computer Programmer (BPS-17)

Number of Positions: 1
Educational Qualification: Applicants must hold an MCS, MS (IT), BCS (4 years), or a BS in Software Engineering, with at least second division from an HEC-recognized university.
Experience: Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in software and web development, application development, and design.
Age Limit: 24 to 32 years.

3. Photographer/Cameraman (BPS-14)

Number of Positions: 1
Educational Qualification: A graduation degree (at least 2nd division) from a recognized institution, along with a diploma or certificate in photography.
Experience: At least 1 year of professional experience in photography.
Age Limit: 24 to 40 years.

Selection Procedure – How to Apply

• Applications are invited online via the Central Testing Service (CTS) website www.ctspak.com or through a link available at www.rescue.gov.pk.
• The last date to submit the online application is May 5, 2025.
• Applicants must also send the completed application form to the CTS office before the deadline.
• Incomplete applications or those not meeting the criteria will not be accepted.
• Selection will involve a written test, psychological assessment, physical fitness test, and a skill evaluation conducted at designated centers.
• The list of shortlisted candidates will be published on both CTS and Emergency Services Department (ESD) websites.
• Final interviews will be held at the Emergency Services Department Headquarters, Thokar Niaz Baig, Lahore.
• Candidates must bring a medical fitness certificate issued by a government hospital, verifying vision, weight, chest, physical health, and lab reports for Hepatitis B & C, HIV, and RPR.

Terms and Conditions

• Applicants must have 6/6 vision in both eyes without glasses and must not suffer from color blindness or obesity (BMI over 30).
• No age or qualification relaxation will be granted to civilians; however, Rescue 1122 employees may receive a 5-year age relaxation for administrative posts.
• Preference will be given to candidates with a height of over 5’6”, and male applicants must have a chest size of at least 33 inches.
• Only one post application is allowed per candidate. However, the recruitment committee may adjust candidates to suitable roles.
• Local residents, as per CNIC, will be prioritized.
• Only candidates fulfilling the enhanced/preferred criteria will be shortlisted in the event of a high number of applications.
• Selection will be strictly based on merit, verification of documents, medical clearance, and police verification.
